Class Description
Immerse yourself in the artistry of Asian flavors with this evening of creative cooking. Drawing inspiration from the nuanced techniques and balance of tastes found across East and Southeast Asia, you’ll learn how to layer umami, aromatics, and subtle sweetness in every dish. Chef Molly Flynn attended culinary school at Seattle Central Culinary Academy and started her career with several restaurants and catering companies in Seattle while running her own business as a personal chef. She loves teaching both adults and children how to cook, but has spent the last three years cooking for the Kansas City Chiefs at their practice facility. Chef Flynn has enjoyed embracing the challenge of cooking healthy and delicious food for professional athletes.
Your menu begins with delicately seared scallops, kissed with a golden crust. You’ll stir-fry a vibrant medley of wilted kale and delicata squash seasoned with sesame and shallots, and master deeply flavorful spicy garlic chicken thighs, infused with chili heat and savory notes. Perfectly steamed sticky rice will accompany the meal, showcasing the importance of texture and fragrance. To finish, we will have green tea mochi cupcakes, blending the earthy depth of matcha with the chewy-tender delight of mochi—an elegant nod to traditional wagashi sweets. By evening’s end, you’ll leave with new techniques, an appreciation for balance and harmony on the plate, and the confidence to bring refined Asian-inspired dishes to your own table.

- Please enjoy a 10% discount on all items in our retail store during the full calendar day/night of your class or event. Our retail store will be open for browsing prior to class, during any breaks, and after class.
- We provide a full refund if you need to cancel more than three weeks prior to the start of a scheduled class. You will receive an Account Credit if you need to cancel at any time within three weeks but prior to the class start time. Please note that any refund issued for classes purchased using a Gift Certificate or Account Credit will result in reinstatement of the original Gift Card or Account Credit and will bear the same expiration date. Account Credits issued for cancelations within three weeks of a class will expire one year from the date of issuance. We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reason, at any time, in which case you will receive a full refund.
- This class is for adults 18+. Children 14-17 years old are allowed if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please let us know if you plan to bring a minor.

If you've registered with other people on the same order, you will automatically be seated together.
