Class Description
Crêpes are one of France’s most versatile gifts to the world of food. Capable of supporting both savory and sweet dishes, they are easier to make than you think. Discover the magic of French Crêpes in this family-friendly, hands-on culinary adventure where elegance meets everyday deliciousness.

Instructor Laura Thomsen, the creative mind behind many of our kids and family-friendly culinary classes and camps, will guide you step-by-step whisking, swirling, flipping, and filling both sweet and savory creations. We will do two varieties today: gooey Nutella with fruit and a savory Chicken. Whether you're looking to impress at your next brunch or just want to add a little French flair to your recipe repertoire, this class will leave you flipping for Crêpes! Beginners are welcome.

Notes:

For the safety of all participants, we require the following: (1) Long hair must be tied back, restrained, or covered during class. (2) Closed-toe, non-slip shoes must be worn at all times in the kitchen. No sandals or open-toed footwear permitted. (3) Appropriate kitchen attire is required. Long pants are recommended to protect against potential burns or spills. Participants who do not comply with these safety requirements may be asked to adjust their attire or may be unable to participate in cooking activities. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a safe learning environment.
Please enjoy a 10% discount on all items in our retail store during the full calendar day/night of your class or event. Our retail store will be open for browsing prior to class, during any breaks, and after class.
We provide a full refund if you need to cancel more than three weeks prior to the start of a scheduled class. You will receive an Account Credit if you need to cancel at any time within three weeks but prior to the class start time. Please note that any refund issued for classes purchased using a Gift Certificate or Account Credit will result in reinstatement of the original Gift Card or Account Credit and will bear the same expiration date. Account Credits issued for cancelations within three weeks of a class will expire one year from the date of issuance. We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reason, at any time, in which case you will receive a full refund.
Family Friendly (5+) - All ages 5 and up welcome. Each child below the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
If (a) you’d like to sit with another registered guest, or (b) have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know in the Comments section of your registration after reading our full description of policies and information about classes. If you've registered with other people on the same order, you will automatically be seated together.
Your registration tells us that you have read through the class description including the age requirements for that particular class.

Prior to registration, if you or any member of the group for which you are registering is under 18 years of age at the date of the class, please contact The Culinary Center of Kansas City at cook@kcculinary.com or 913-341-4455 to determine whether admittance to class will be allowed. There are certain classes where 14 years and older may attend as long as an adult also attends with them and as long as we have a completed waiver signed by a legal representative for the child. Without prior approval and a properly signed waiver, any registrant who is under 18 years of age will not be allowed to participate in this class. I acknowledge and understand that I and all parties for whom I am registering will be asked to execute a written liability waiver prior to the start of the class and that this waiver is required in order to participate in the class.
